Immersive dining experience from 3deluxe and star chef Tim Raue

The 3deluxe interior team created an Asian speciality restaurant for TUI Cruises at a high level as an immersive 360° dining experience for the gastronomic idea of Berlin star chef Tim Raue. A central element of "Fugu" is the impressive light sculpture placed in the middle of the room. This serves not only as an aesthetic highlight and projection surface for all possible themes, but it is an integral part of an immersive all-around experience.

The integrated technical features in the ceiling, such as smart LEDs or projector projections, seamlessly take the guest on a fascinating journey into the digital space, for example, a gliding flight over the night skyline of Tokyo. During the 5-course menu created by Tim Raue, the digital speaker SETO-KA1 accompanies guests on a sensory journey through Japanese cuisine and culture. The projections, utilizing not only the walls but also the central light sculpture, create a unique atmosphere that elevates the culinary experience to a new level. After the meal, "Fugu" transforms into an exceptional club where guests can end the evening in an environment dominated by colors and projections. An integrated bar completes the overall experience, seamlessly fitting into the design and color scheme of the room, primarily influenced by the respective media experience and projections. "Fugu" is not just a restaurant but a sensory journey that blurs the boundaries between the highest culinary pleasure and digital technical artistry. The concept is currently in the construction phase and is being implemented at the Fincantieri shipyard in Trieste, Italy. More to come soon!
