With the development of the Sports Court on MS Relax, 3deluxe sets new standards for the connection of architecture, sports, and relaxation at sea. The focal point is the "Arena" or multifunctional hall, not only enabling various sports activities but also focusing on the connection to the sea through a completely glazed facades. Team sports, equipment training, and indoor cycling take place in a discreet natural inspired design, interspersed with maritime color accents.
The Arena is equipped with architectural and technical innovations, with support structures spannin g almost the entire width of the vessel, seamlessly connecting with the stable lamella ceiling, providing a light atmosphere into the arena. Seamlessly integrated technology allows for multifunctional, changing usage options (providing screen, light, speaker as well as sporting equipment). The stands running down to the center of the arena offer the opportunity to actively participate and watch the action.
The full glazing allows a panoramic view of the sea, while the upward-opening ceiling creates a natural connection to the surroundings.
The MS Relax Sports Court is designed as a cohesive design cosmos, consisting of the arena with an attached gym and a jogging track at a higher level, characterized by a cohesive design theme. Elements such as lime-washed oak, wood-look slats, wide supports, and a well-thought-out lighting concept create an architectural unity that offers an integrated experience for both sports enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation. It was designed to match the modern Nordic style of the open decks, also developed by 3deluxe.
